Access

Metro – Piraeus is the terminal station of the Line 1 of Metro (ISAP-Electric Urban Railway). It is located directly across the Kallimasioti coast, at a short distance from Gate E5, while the access to the port is now possible through the adjacent footbridge. The underground station of the line 3 of Metro (Haidari-Piraeus extension) is expected to be constructed near this station. The line 1 of Metro is connected to the line 2 at the Omonia and Attiki stations and to the line 3 at the Monastiraki station.

Suburban Railway – The Suburban Railway station of Piraeus (formerly known as «Peloponnese station») is located at a 200 m. distance from the Metro station, at the junction of Kononos street & Kallimasioti coast. It is the starting point of the line Piraeus – Athens – SKA – Chalkida, while it is connected to the line Airport – Kiato – Airport at the S.K.A. station. It is also connected to the national railroad network at the Central Station of Athens (Larissa Station). These services are carried out every hour, from 5:30 to 22:30. Busses: There is a large number of Buss lines passing through the area surrounding the Port of Piraeus. Lines that run between the ISAP station and the gates Ε6 to Ε9: 826, 832, 833, 875. Lines that run between the ISAP station and the gates Ε6 to Ε12: 827, 828, 831, 843, 859. Lines starting at Vassiliadis coast (serving the gates Ε1 to Ε9): 218, 232. Express Line Χ96 Piraeus – Airport (24 hour service). The buss line X80 Piraeus – Acropolis – Syntagma connects the cruise terminal to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square. The only valid tickets are daily and tourist tickets.

From the Airport to Piraeus port – Traveling from El. Venizelos Airport to the Piraeus Port is made possible using: Bus: With the bus line Express Χ96 Piraeus – Airport (24 hour service). Metro: With the line 3 from the Airport to Monastiraki, where the passengers change line and board on line 1 (ISAP) with direction to Piraeus.

From Larisa Railway Station to the Piraeus Port – Traveling from Athens Railway Station (Larisa Station) to the Piraeus Port is made possible using: Metro: With the line 2 from Larisa Station to Omonia Station, where the passengers change line and board on line 1 (ISAP) with direction to Piraeus. Suburban railway: With the trains of line Piraeus-Athens-Chalkida with services carried out every 1 hour every 2 hours.

From the KTEL terminals (Intercity Bus Terminals) of Kifissos and Liosion to the Piraeus Port – Traveling from the Intercity Bus Terminals (KTEL) of Kifissos and Liosion to the Piraeus Port is made possible using: Bus for both stations: With the bus line 420 Piraeus – Ag. Anargyroi (through Kifissos) Bus – Metro only for Kifissos station: With the bus line 051 Omonia – Kifissos Intercity Bus Terminal to Omonia Metro station, and then with the Metro (ISAP) line 1 to Piraeus. Bus – Metro only for Liosion intercity bus terminal: With one of the 13 bus lines (024, 701, 704, 711, 719, 747, Α10, Α11, Β10, Β11, Β12, Γ10, Γ12) which pass from Liosion station to Attiki Metro station (a 4 stop distance), and then with the Metro (ISAP) line 1 to Piraeus.

Moving within the port area – Besides the bus lines of OASA, the travelers can move within the port area by using the free busses of OLP (Piraeus Port Authority) that provide services inside the port area. The bus stops are:

Cancellations – Changes – Hand luggage

1. Am I entitled to cancel my ticket?

You are entitled to withdraw and depending on the time you return the ticket as a whole, you may get a full or partial refund on tickets value, as follows:-50% refund if you return the ticket up to 12 hours prior to scheduled departure

  • 75% refund if you return the ticket up to 7 prior to scheduled departure.
  • Full refund if you return the ticket up to 14 days prior to scheduled departure.
  • Full refund regardless the notification time, due to proven force majeure.

In the abovementioned cases of cancellation, bookings for third parties and VAT are also reimbursed.

2. Am I entitled to change my ticket?

You are entitled to change your ticket if there are seats available up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure.

3. What am I entitled to carry without paying any additional charges?

You have the right to carry hand luggage weighing up to 50 kg. If you are a passenger of reduced mobility, besides the hand luggage, you are additionally entitled to carry any equipment or device required for your autonomous movement.
